Privacy International, LLP ("PILLP," "we," "us," or "our") is a U.S.-based firm providing privacy, information governance, and data protection consulting services ("Services"). We are committed to protecting the privacy and security of personal data we process.


This Privacy Statement explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information when you visit our website (privacy-internationallp.com) or engage our Services. It applies to personal information submitted via our site or in connection with our Services.


By using our website or submitting personal information to us, you consent to the processing described in this Statement.


Definitions

  • Customer or Client: A legal entity with whom PILLP has an agreement to provide Services; may act as a Controller or Processor.
  • Controller: The entity that determines the purposes and means of processing personal information.
  • Personal Information: Any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person (also referred to as "personal data").
  • Processor:  An entity that processes personal information on behalf of the Controller.
  • Third Party: Any entity other than the individual, Controller, Processor, or authorized persons.


Personal Information We Collect

We collect only the personal information you voluntarily provide, such as:

  • Name, job title, company name
  • Address, email address, telephone, and fax numbers

This occurs when you:

  • Submit inquiries or contact forms on our website
  • Send emails through the site
  • Create an account or engage our Services
  • Request support, billing, or marketing communications

We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information (e.g., health, racial/ethnic origin, political opinions) unless legally required or voluntarily provided. Non-personal information, such as aggregated or de-identified data, is not covered by this Statement.


Our Services are not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16.


Purposes for Processing Personal Information

We process personal information for the following limited purposes:

  • To provide and deliver our Services
  • To respond to inquiries, provide support, process payments, and fulfill      contractual obligations
  • To send marketing communications (with your consent, where required)
  • For internal administrative purposes, site management, and analytics


Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We may use cookies and similar technologies on our site to enhance user experience (e.g., storing contact form preferences) and compile anonymous site statistics via third-party analytics providers. These may involve sharing your IP address for statistical reporting only.

You can manage cookies through your browser settings—most allow you to decline or delete them without impairing basic site navigation. We recommend reviewing the Network Advertising Initiative (NAI) opt-out tool for behavioral advertising cookies.


Sharing and Disclosure of Personal Information

We may share personal information:

As a Processor for our Clients (who are typically Controllers), we process personal information only on their instructions and assist with their obligations where required. We do not sell personal information.


International Transfers

As a U.S.-based firm, personal information may be transferred to and processed in the United States. We implement appropriate safeguards for international transfers where required by applicable law.


Data Retention

We retain personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes described above or to comply with legal obligations. Mailing list information is retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion.


Your Rights

Depending on applicable laws, you may have rights to:

  • Access, correct, or delete your personal information
  • Opt-out of certain processing (e.g., marketing)
  • Withdraw consent where processing is consent-based

You may also contact us at privacy@privacy-internationallp.com, and we will assist or forward as appropriate. To unsubscribe from communications, follow instructions in emails or contact us.


Security

We implement reasonable technical, administrative, and organizational measures to protect personal information from loss, misuse, alteration, or unauthorized access. Access is limited to authorized personnel bound by confidentiality obligations.


Data Breach Notification

We will notify affected Clients (and, where required by law, individuals or authorities) promptly in the event of a confirmed breach involving personal information.


Privacy Program 

PILLP maintains a privacy program with regular risk assessments, policy reviews, and employee training. Our Managing Officer oversees the program.


Complaints and Inquiries

Contact us at privacy@privacy-internationallp.com for questions, complaints, or rights requests. We will cooperate with Clients on regulatory inquiries.


Children

We do not knowingly collect or maintain personal information from children under 16.


Changes to This Statement

We may update this Statement periodically. The latest version will be posted on our website with the effective date.
